San Jose, CA. Center for Employment Training (CET) has received funding from the California Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) to implement the Drought Emergency Assistance Program (DEAP). This program was designed to primarily assist drought-impacted, low-income agricultural workers and their families residing in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties, however, any drought-impacted, low-income person or household residing in these service areas may be eligible. Emergency services may include: housing assistance, utility assistance, medical care, transportation, and food resources.
Please have the following forms readily available when applying:
- Picture Identification
- Proof of Family Size
- Utility Bills
- Rental/Lease Agreement
- Proof of Family Income, or
- Proof of CalFresh, CalWorks, TANF, or Head Start
Examples of documentation:
- Family Size: birth certificates, Passport to Services, baptismal records, tax forms, etc.
- Family Income: most recent check stubs, social security award letters, bank statements, tax statements, unemployment insurance letters, etc.
